The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Our Mission
Welcome to the Delaware Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! For over 50 years the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, with its nationwide network of chapters and branches, has worked ardently to find a cure for MS and to improve the quality of life for people with MS and their families.
The Society is a non-profit organization supported solely by voluntary contributions. It funds more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, and provides more professional education programs than any other MS organization in the world. Since its founding in 1946, over $500 million has been invested in research to find the cause, treatments, and cure for MS. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is the only national voluntary MS organization that meets the standards of all major agencies that rate the fiscal responsibility of non-profit groups. We at the Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society work toward our mission in three ways:
- by providing opportunities for you to Join the Movement to end MS through our bike MS and walk MS events.
- and by supporting Research into the cause of MS and its cure.
Most of our programs and services are free to our clients with MS and their families --- thanks to the continued generosity of our event sponsors and fundraisers.
**Many heartfelt thanks! You are making a big difference.**
