The adventure begins with a ropes course at Tigertail Lake where teens will build trust and support. Next, teens will go cosmic bowling in Fort Myers and have a friendly competition among their peers. Lastly, teens will discover the great outdoors by kayaking and a scavenger hunt voyage at Oleta River State Park.

The YAMS program will culminate in an amazing Youth Against MS Teen Summit and Retreat at the Circle F. Ranch in Lake Wales, Florida in the summer of 2009.

The National MS Society's Gala and Fashion Show is one of the most prestigious luncheons held in South Florida, drawing over 1,600 guests from Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties every year. Since its inception, this Day to Remember has raised more than $3.6 million to help the National MS Society fund research to find the cause of MS, ways to treat MS and, ultimately, a cure for the disease. Additionally, funds provide programs that enhance knowledge, health, and independence for the 15,000 people and their families affected by MS in South Florida.

Scientific evidence shows that these therapies have the ability to decrease the number of attacks a person with relapsing MS would expect to have over time. As a result, these medications are thought to slow down the development of MS disability.
