Employment Teleconference


Tele-work 101: How to Access Work-from-Home Opportunities
Tuesday, December 10, 2008
12 -1:30 p.m.

Tele-work is an emerging alternative employment option for people living with MS for whom commuting has become too difficult due to mobility and fatigue challenges. This 90 minute teleconference will address how to get started in securing legitimate tele-work opportunities and answer questions you may have about tele-work and home based employment.

Five-Day Health and Wellness Program
For prople with MS and their support partners

Date: January 21 - 25, 2009.
Location: Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, Westchester County, NY.

Learn strategies and tools to:

Focus on what you and your support partner can do by emphasizing general health, physical fitness and psychological well-being.

Manage symptoms and effects of MS using The Huega Center's whole-person approach.

Set realistic goals, constructing an individualized lifestyle plan to improve your quality of life.

Build a support network by meeting with 45 MS specialists to answer questions and give advice based on your lifestyle and goals.
