Flip-Flop Workshops
by the Seashore
Wyndham Va. Beach Oceanfront
5700 Atlantic Avenue
Virginia Beach, VA 23451
March 14-15, 2009
Two days chock full of educational workshops, relaxation, and fun.
Does a weekend at the Beach appeal to you?
Need a break? Perhaps some time away from the kids?
Want to pamper yourself? Enjoy a Massage? Meditation? Yoga?
Thanks to a generous grant from the ZiMS Foundation, we’ve organized a weekend get-away for adults that includes time to learn, relax, exercise, and have fun.
You’ll enjoy participating in hands-on activities and listening to dynamic speakers about the most popular topics in the world of MS.
We understand that a week-end away means time to relax and have fun, too! So if you want to sit out on the balcony overlooking the ocean and daydream, go for it… you may want to take time to get a massage or take a walk. It’s up to you!
The Flip Flop Workshops:
· Chair Yoga
· Complimentary and Alternative Therapies
· Talking to your family about MS
· MS and Intimacy
· Guided Meditation
· Assistive Technology
· Research
· Exercising at home
· Spirituality
You will also have the chance to meet one-on-one with a financial planner and an estate planning attorney!

MS shouldn't stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists—to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college. To qualify, students must be attending post-secondary school for the first time.
Scholarship applications for 2009 awards will be available October 1, 2008. Applications may be submitted from October 15, 2008 through January 15, 2009 and scholars receive notice in May 2009. For detailed information, guidelines and application information, click here
