The Greater Illinois Chapter invites certified aquatics instructors to participate in MS Aquatics Program Instructor Training. This free workshop, which takes place on Saturday, November 3, will teach participants how to gear their classes specifically to address the needs of individuals living with MS. The class is taught by Diana Duda, an MS Aquatic Instructor for the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National MS Society. She is Certified by AEA (Aqua Exercise Association), the US Water Federation, National MS Society, Arthritis Association, Yoqua and Watsu. Diana has been teaching aquatics since 2002 and teaching MS aquatics since 2004.

This course teaches aquatics instructors how to modify a class for people living with MS. Includes classroom and in the water instruction. Participants may apply to AEA for credits upon completion.

8:30  |  Registration

9:00 - 11:30  | Classroom instruction on MS and MS Aquatics

Noon  |  Light lunch (free)

Noon - 2:00 p.m.  |  In the pool for hands-on instruction
