Home Modifications 101: Strategies for Optimal Living - Bethesda, MD, DCW

An occupational therapist and a contractor, both certified Aging in Place Specialists, will share solutions to increase the safety and accessibility of your home. The presenters will discuss what is involved in a home assessment and suggest adaptations and modifications that can be made to improve your quality of life.

Speakers:

Tori Goldhammer, MS, OTR/L, ATP, CAPS, is an Occupational Therapist and the owner of Living at Home Consultations, LLC. Tori combines her experise in assistive technology and occupational therapy to provide services to help people achieve safety, independence and comfort in their homes.

Russ Glickman is the founder and master builder at Glickman Design Build. He specializes in residential construction with a focus on accessible design. His design goals are to maintain beauty and function while creating living spaces that allow individuals to live as independently as possible.
