Park Plaza Hotel

Planning is important for everyone, especially for people living with a chronic disease. You can and should plan for your future, and get your estate in order no matter your income, asset level, age or family makeup. With the right estate plan in place, you can better meet personal goals and take greater control of your financial future.

In this workshop specifically designed for people with MS, you will learn:

  • how to manage and protect your assets;
  • the value of powers of attorney and health care directives;
  • why you should have a will and the nuts and bolts of probate;
  • about special needs, supplemental needs or pooled trusts and how they can protect assests and allow qualification for government benefits; and
  • about requirements for medical assistance and veterans benefits.

All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of “Adapting: Financial Planning for a Life with MS,” and are eligible for door prizes. Lunch will be provided.

Featured presenters:
