2012 Volunteer Recognition Awards
The Chapter will recognize key volunteers, top individual fundraisers, and top fundraising teams for their outstanding contributions in 2012. For a complete listing and individual descriptions of the awards that will be presented, please click HERE.
We are delighted to have as our keynote speaker Dr. Rob Naismith, a Neurologist and Clinical Investigator at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Naismith’s research focus includes MRI as a tool for individual prognosis, response to treatment, and to differentiate how our therapies work. He received fellowship-training in multiple sclerosis through the NMSS, and is currently funded by the NIH. He has multiple publications, serves on numerous committees and advisory boards, and is active in the NMSS both locally and nationally.
Dr. Naismith’s presentation is entitled “Imaging the Optic Nerve after Optic Neuritis.” He will also share information about the focus of the MS Society’s NOW Research campaign.
Master of Ceremonies- Matt “Mojo” Lersch, Q106 FM, Lansing, MI began his radio career in 1997 and presently hosts the Rock ‘N’ Roll Sideshow on Q 106 Lansing’s Rock Station. Mojo was diagnosed with MS in 2008.
