Health Insurance Guidance |
Fall is open enrollment season for Medicare and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Ensuring people with MS enroll in the health insurance plan best suited to their needs and budget is critical. Many people who lost jobs due to the pandemic need information about their rights and deadlines so they can stay insured. MS Navigators can provide resources and guidance around health insurance options — encourage your patients to connect to an MS Navigator today. |

Increasing Access to Telehealth |
The global recommendation for people living with MS during the COVID-19 pandemic is to use telehealth where possible. The National MS Society is urging Congress to take additional steps to maintain and improve access to telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. If you have challenges with reimbursement for telehealth services, please share your story at healthprof_info@nmss.org.
For comprehensive MS telehealth support resources around rehabilitation, mental health, rural health, pediatric and adult neurology assessments and more, visit our Professional Resource Center COVID-19 page. |
