Celebrating & Honoring Fathers!

Happy Father's Day!

Father’s Day is THIS SUNDAY so now is the perfect time to honor and recognize all dads in the MS community.

Happy Father’s Day! We are celebrating dads like Micah Love, who after initially being stunned about his MS diagnosis thought he could not have children, but after having a son of his own he has come to a defining realization that MS will not define his life.

“When I found out there were other options available to me I was optimistic; in fact, I was ecstatic. I was very encouraged to learn about new oral therapies and in 2013 I began taking Tecfidera, a twice-daily oral therapy for patients with relapsing forms of MS.

Having a treatment option that fits my lifestyle is incredibly important, and I know without the research funded by the National MS Society I wouldn’t have the options I have today. This event has a profound impact on the MS community the funds raised have resulted in an increase in MS awareness and education, in patient support services, and in the research of new therapies over the years.”

-Micah Love

Please make a gift in honor of Father’s Day and help raise an additional $1 million by July 31. These gifts fund much needed MS research and greatly impacts the lives of those affected by MS. Thank you and Happy Father’s Day!
