We’re also selecting five inspiring stories of people affected by MS, each focused on a topic that many of us encounter every day. Each story, along with related resources and toolkits, will be shared on the Everyday Matters site to help empower the entire MS community — if you submitted a story, it could be you!

Join the Everyday Matters journey. Start with tips from Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage, that you can use to help make the most of every day.

Check back to everydayMSmatters.org often. In July you’ll meet the participants and follow their stories through videos and personal journals. You’ll also find useful tools and resources created specifically for you to take action in your own life — starting with positive psychology.

Join the interactive community, learning and sharing resources and ideas to make the most of every day. Everyday Matters is a partnership between the National MS Society and Genzyme.

Selected participants will be notified by phone or email between June 28 and July 2. If selected, you’ll:

  • Share your story with Emmy-award wining television producer, Kristen Adams, living with MS, to empower the entire MS community.
  • Get support in reaching your goal or overcoming your challenge by certified life coach, Michelle Clos, also living with MS.
  • Harness positive psychology as described by Shawn Achor in The Happiness Advantage, building tools along the way for the entire MS community.
