Already a registered volunteer?

Be sure to fill out the volunteer consent form. All volunteers are required to hand in a consent form when they arrive at the event.  If you are under 18 years of age please have a parent sign the consent form.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED! We still need volunteers at the Day Three Finish Line at Embarcadero South. If you would like to volunteer, please show up at 11am and go to the volunteer check-in tent.

The success of Challenge Walk MS Southern California is directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help make the event go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: a commitment to helping end MS! There are many jobs to choose from including registration and cheering at the finish line. Click on the buttons to the right to register as an individual volunteer or join a team as a volunteer!

Please note: Crew and Super Crew volunteers must pay a registration fee to participate. Crew must also pay a housing fee if they choose to stay at the host hotel, San Diego Marriott Del Mar. The fee is $129/room per night for Friday and Saturday nights. Additional housing fees apply for any Super Crew or Crew who choose to stay at the host hotel Thursday night ($129/person). This helps to underwrite event costs and to ensure that Challenge Walk MS donations go directly to our mission to create a world free of MS.

Crew members are not required to raise the minimum contribution. However, those that want to go above and beyond by pledging to raise $2,500 become elite “Super Crew” members.

Challenge Walk MS has three types of volunteer options:

Super Crew

Extraordinary volunteers who work all three event days and fundraise $2,500 or more. Participate in all event festivities and enjoy all the same perks as walkers including hotel accommodations for two nights and banquet meals. $65 registration fee (January 1st - June 30th) to help underwrite the cost of accommodations and food. Registration fee increases to $75 from July 1st - event weekend. Create a team, join an existing team or register as an individual Super Crew member.

Crew

Dedicated volunteers who work all three event days enjoy breakfast each morning at the host hotel and a banquet dinner and entertainment each evening. Discount rate on hotel accommodations are available. Limited to 50 Crew positions. $65 registration fee (January 1st - June 30th) to help underwrite the cost of accommodations and food. Registration fee increases to $75 from July 1st - event weekend. Create a team, join an existing team or register as an individual Crew member.

There is a limited space for Crew Members. Crew members are taken on a first come, first served basis. If you have questions about registering as a crew member, please contact Linda Ingram by email or by calling (760) 448-8604.

Volunteer

Spirited individuals who volunteer for a 4 hour shift for one, two or all three days of the Challenge Walk MS. No Registration Fee. No banquet meals or discount accommodations available. Create a team, join an existing team or register as an individual volunteer.
