MS Journey Club

In 2005 the National MS Society rolled out a new program for parents with MS and their children because families living with MS typically find themselves in uncharted territory. Parents often struggle with what to tell their children and how their MS may affect their children's lives. MS Journey Club, developed by the Society, provides parents and children with opportunities to dispel misunderstandings and learn together about living with this disease.

MS Journey Club is a fun program for parents with MS, their spouse or partner, and their children ages 5-12. During each of the weekly sessions, children and parents meet in separate, professionally facilitated groups to discuss issues related to the family's journey with MS. The program was offered in a wide variety of formats by chapters across the country.
