Living with MS

Life Planning and Independence

Health Insurance and Medicare

Although the day when every person living with MS is guaranteed adequate, affordable, and secure health coverage may seem far off, there is much that can be done to help everyone make best use of the system we now have. This section highlights some of the Society's recent efforts in this area. It includes useful information to help people with MS, their caregivers, advocates, and health professionals overcome some of the common obstacles to getting and keeping health coverage; understanding one's rights and responsibilities as a plan enrollee; and learning where to turn when more individualized information is needed.
