With all the obstacles on the 5K course and the happenings in the MuckFestival area, it takes a large number of volunteers to help produce a MuckFest™ MS. Incredible people. Great cause. Muck-tacular fun. And it's also one of the coolest volunteer gigs around. Don't take our word for it—check out all the mucky action from the 2013 MuckFest MS events.

Volunteer and get a front row seat for all the fun. We have a variety of jobs to accommodate your skills and interests. Just leave your white tuxedo at home. We also have opportunities for groups, such as school or church groups, to volunteer at MuckFest MS. Please contact us if you are interested in having your group volunteer at MuckFest MS.

MuckFest MS Volunteer

Job Descriptions

Check-In volunteers have the pleasure of meeting, greeting and interacting with our muck-tacular muckers. Welcome muckers to MuckFest MS and assist them with on-event registration, packet distribution and general information. Gray skies always clear up when participants see our Check-In Volunteers' happy faces!

Course volunteers monitor the mucky action on the 5K course. It requires standing or sitting for extended periods, but it also involves a little Sacagawea: providing direction to muckers navigating the course; some 2-4-6-8 Who Do We Appreciate cheering: giving them an encouraging word (or song) as they pass by; and a little Officer Friendly: ensuring muckers are safely enjoying the obstacles.

Festival volunteers make the muck-magic happen in the many booths in the MuckFestival area, which is the epicenter of the MuckFest MS muck-stravaganza. Festival volunteers will provide support for participants as well as spectators, and requires interacting with runners and their guests, and may require sitting, standing and occasional sashaying for extended periods. (You don't have to sashay.)

It's a mucking party!
