STARTING WITH A BANG!
Boston, the first MuckFest MS event of the season, started on Saturday with a bang and ended on Sunday with a BIG BANG, which is no longer a theory thanks to your mud-thusiasm and high energy. Over 5,000 muckers and 200 volunteers showed up to demonstrate why we get this nation-wide muck-party started in New England!
Teams leaped headlong into their MudZone, sporting awesome team shirts and costumes as legions of muck-fans cheered them on in-person and via Facebook Live! Start to finish—from the muddy calisthenics in the Muckin' Corral to the triumphant ringing of the bell to end MS at the finish line—Boston mucked early, mucked often, and carried on for hours in the MuckFestival, refreshed by Traveler Beer.
Big thanks to the volunteers, whose hard work, bright smiles and enthusiasm helped make the 2016 MuckFest MS Boston a big success. Thanks also to our event hosts at the Willard Athletic Complex for providing the beautiful backdrop for all our mucky shenanigans.
Thank you for coming out and making the 2016 MuckFest MS Boston such a great success. We would like to thank all the runners, volunteers and staff who came out to run, help and support each other this weekend. Every day of the year, we work hard to support people living with multiple sclerosis.
There is still time to support the mission behind the “muck” and help us reach our fundraising goal of $730,000. We've made great progress toward reaching that goal—over $600,000 so far—and we want to keep that momentum going until we reach our goal. Make a donation online or call us.
“It was a blast; we had so many laughs. Can't wait until next year!”—Red C., Boston Mucker
