A little pre-event rain made everything perfectly mucky, which suited Mud Master Al as he choreographed the muddy hijinks in the Muckin' Corral. Consequently, everyone was properly "muckified" as they left the start line to attack the Triple Pits.
Speaking of hijinks, props to the Sunday morning wave that enthusiastically accepted (and crushed) the #floorislava challenge.
While you conquered all the obstacles with gusto, you really nailed the newest MuckFest MS obstacle, Slippy Sloppy. And really, after watching all the innovative water entries, we have to salute your exceptional slippy sloppiness.
A sincere thank you to all the fundraising muckers and volunteers, including all the top fundraising individuals and teams listed below.
Let's hear it for our awesome volunteer captains and the mighty crew of volunteers, including the runners who volunteered, and all the volunteer veterans like Lyndsay and Eddie, who met while working on Crash Landing a few years ago! All of the volunteers' hard work and happy faces made this event something special. Thank you.
A special shout out to muckers, guests and volunteers who traveled to West Orange from all parts of New Jersey and neighboring states to get mucky on Saturday and Sunday.
Thanks again to Essex County South Mountain Reservation for being a great event partner and thanks to McLoone's Boathouse for hosting the muck-party before, during and after the run.
Thank you for coming out and making MuckFest MS New Jersey so memorable. We would like to thank all the runners, volunteers, spectators and staff who participated and supported each other this weekend. It is that spirit of support that inspires us to work hard every day of the year to support people living with multiple sclerosis.
There is still time to support the mission behind the “muck.” We've made incredible progress so far and we want to keep that momentum going after the event. Make a donation online.
“So proud to be a part of such a wonderful event!”—Deborah L., New Jersey Mucker
