MuckFest® MS Philadelphia 5K Mud and Fun Run

You came, you got dirty, you raised over $545,000 to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!

It’s no secret that Philadelphia was muck-tacularly fun. So, be a bud and spread the word about the mud… and the obstacles… and all the dirty action to be had at a MuckFest MS event.

Share the THANKSMUCKERS promo code on Facebook or Twitter and your friends will save $5 on their MuckFest MS registrations. There are seven more MuckFest MS events happening across the country.

Remember, the more people we sign up to muck it, the more support we’re able to provide for MS research and for people living with MS in our communities.

There’s no such thing as too much sharing

With MuckFest MS Philadelphia, it’s definitely time to overshare using hashtag #MuckFestMS

Event Recap — It's Always Mucky in Philadelphia!

Philadelphia is an event of superlatives: the most runners and the most volunteers, and the best viewing area for spectators. But after Saturday and Sunday, we have a few more superlatives to add. Even though both days were delightfully sunny, the pre-event rain helped to make this the muddiest course yet, which in turn, made for some extraordinarily dirty action. We also had our first full wedding party, who rocked their wedding on Saturday, and then mucked it with us on Sunday. (We're honored to have been a part of your post-nuptial shenanigans!) And if that wasn't enough, Philly's future muck-tacularity seems certain as we had, by far, the largest number of Lil' Muckers come out to muck about in the Lil' Muckers area. And to top it off, the incredible band All SOULed Out kept us groovin' in the MuckFestival area with their danceable mix of classic soul and pop hits. Thank you, again, Philadelphia for livin' and muckin' large!

Thank You!

A special message from the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society. Thank you to all the runners, volunteers and staff who came out to run, help and support each other this weekend. All of you helped make MuckFest MS Philadelphia a great success. Every day of the year, we work hard to support people living with multiple sclerosis; after all that’s what we are here for. Remember, 100% of the funds you raise support the MS Society and the 14,000 people living with MS in the region. So far we have raised $545,000, just $70,000 shy of our $615,000 goal. There is still time to support the mission behind the “muck” and help us reach our fundraising goal by making a $10 donation. Make a donation online at or call Sheila Casey at 215-271-1500 to make a contribution over the phone. Every $10 raised will help us get one step closer to a world free of MS.

You Can Be a Muckety Muck

You probably noticed the signs on the course honoring the members of the Muckety Muck Club, which honors our top fundraisers. What you might not realize is that the Muckety Muck Club is something that you can qualify for after the event. And because of that, the rewards and perks of being a Muckety Muck go on all year through to the 2015 event season. So, don't stop fundraising now, not when you can still be a Muckety Muck!
