Volunteer Positions

Below are examples of some of the available volunteer positions.

Set-Up:

Join us in the morning to set up and prepare the site for the day’s events. Jobs may involve unloading and distributing supplies, setting up tables and chairs, and hanging banners and signage. (lifting involved) You will need to be available from 6 a.m. - 8 a.m.

Registration:

Registration volunteers greet and check-in walkers, collect pledge envelopes, distribute t-shirts and provide general event information to walkers checking in. Registration volunteers will be trained on the specific process at mandatory training sessions the morning of the event. You will need to be available from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Rest Stop:

Set up rest stop supplies and re-stock supplies as needed. You will create a fun atmosphere for all by cheering and providing food and beverages for participants as they take a short rest. You will need to be available from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Got a special talent? Share your skills with Walk MS participants to make it a memorable experience for all. (Massage therapists, comedians, musicians, face-painters, truck drivers, etc.)
