Alemtuzumab and BG-12 backed by data

Promising results from phase III trials of alemtuzumab (Genzyme/Sanofi), taken once-yearly by infusion, and oral BG-12 (Biogen Idec) were reported in April at the annual American Academy of Neurology meeting in New Orleans. Genzyme says they’ll file soon for FDA approval of alemtuzumab; Biogen has already submitted BG-12 for FDA approval.
