Society connects research fellows with key mentors

Dr. Sabeen Lulu’s best friend was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while Sabeen was in med school. Now, through a Society-funded Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowship, she’s working with MS research leader Dr. Emmanuelle Waubant to design studies that will look into the challenges faced by children living with the disease.

Dr. Megan Langille met dozens of children living with MS while in training as a pediatric neurology resident. Her experience moved her to pursue a Clinical Care Physician Fellowship, working with neurologist Dr. Lilyana Amezcua to better serve underinsured children with MS.
