Meditation seen to improve symptoms of MS

Rigorous study in MS

The results of a controlled study of 150 people with relapsing-remitting or secondary-progressive MS published in a recent issue of the esteemed journal Neurology focused on whether a type of meditation called “mindfulness-based intervention” (MBI) could improve well-being in people with MS. Participants practicing MBI improved significantly more than the control group in most outcome measures. Why was this?
