Sanofi and its subsidiary Genzyme announced the results of a two-year study of 581 people with relapsing-remitting MS testing their experimental intravenous therapy alemtuzumab. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Active Biotech announced the results of a study involving more than 1,300 people with relapsing-remitting MS testing their oral drug laquinimod. Both companies say they hope to submit applications to the FDA in 2012.
