Breakthrough cognitive study will change lives

Researchers use memory training to restore loss

Kessler Foundation researchers report results of a clinical trial showing that a specific type of memory training improves learning in people with MS for at least six months after the training has ended—and benefits other aspects of quality of life as well. These results could help improve insurance coverage of cognitive therapy moving forward. Get the study details

Affordable Care Act 2013 advances in MS research

The Society invested $48 million this year to drive 380 new and ongoing MS studies, including a clinical trial in ibudilast for progressive MS. Lives moved forward with the FDA approval of a third oral MS therapy, results of studies testing novel cell-based repair strategies, and much more.
