Why I Joined the Movement
.....because I have MS.
MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The MS Society addresses the challenges of each person living with MS. In 2008 alone, through the national home office and 50 state network of chapters, nearly $126 million was devoted to programs that enhanced more than one million lives to move us closer to a world free of MS, the Society also invested more than $46 million to support 380 research projects around the world.
The symptoms of MS are different, and devastating, for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.
I am doing my part by taking good care of myself and am excited to get on my bike and ride 150 miles to raise money for MS.

Why I Ride
Because I can and I LOVE my bike! I just finished The Zimmerman Ride in Florida with my father-in-law and can't wait to do this ride again. I love the fact that my bike has given me so many opportunities-especially raising money to find a cure for MS!

Why You Should Think About Sponsoring Me
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from the MS Bike Ride to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today.
I am proof that research works and hopefully more and more people can benefit from the research the MS Society funds. Every day I am thankful.

yesterday I truly felt as if I would melt. We rode Morgan Territory and intended to ride Mt. Diablo but it was WAY TOO HOT. Anyway- got the ride in-lots of climbing but was very glad to see the BART station which meant the ride was over. Yesterday, that ride seemed harder than Tunitas Creek!
