Bike MS Cox Atlanta Ride 2013
My son, Will, and others need your help....
Why I Chose to Participate in Bike MS:
Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
That diagnosis came in our family about five years ago when son, Will, was the recipient of that heart- sinking message: "You have MS"
That's why I've registered for Bike MS. Bike MS is a ride (not a race) that connects friends, families and co-workers. Each mile we ride brings us closer to a world free of MS.
I am asking you to support me in Bike MS because this is a cause that is meaningful to me. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and it stops people from moving. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
Please support me!
Will and Caroline Ross were married June 9, 2012. The photo on the left above is from their wedding, which was held outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Will's condition is stable, and that's the best we can hope for near term. A cure is years away, so your help becomes all the more critical.
Your gift helps provide local programs and services for people affected by MS, and funds cutting-edge research, putting us closer to realizing our promise to STOP MS in its tracks, RESTORE lost function and END MS forever. Ending MS means no one will hear the words, "You have MS" ever again. Every dollar counts!
Many thanks for your support!
