Bike MS: Great Lakes Bavarian Breakaway 2017 is a ride that will take you farther than you’ve ever gone before. What makes this ride so special? This is a 2 day event that starts and finishes in Frankenmuth, Michigan's Little Bavaria. There are 30, 50, 75, and 100 mile route options available each day, all of which are well supported with fully-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided by medical personnel, bike mechanics, and HAM radio operators. The ride begins Saturday morning at 7:00am. Riders will travel along the Cass River and pedal through quaint towns and along serene roads and return to a celebration dinner Saturday night. This will be a great event for the whole family whether you are cycling or decide to enjoy the city’s attractions and great shopping. A tent camping option will be provided outside the Harvey Kern Pavilion for both Friday and Saturday nights. Day 2 begins with a hearty breakfast of flying pancakes by Chris Cakes before heading out.
Your participation will drive MS research forward faster, and deliver services to those who face the challenges of MS every day so they can live their best lives.
