Bike MS: Historic New Bern is a two-day fundraising cycling event that takes you through the beautiful countryside of eastern North Carolina The ride begins and ends each day in the quaint downtown of New Bern, NC at Union Point Park. All route options are well supported with fully-stocked rest stops every 10- 15 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided through on-route medical support, HAM radio operators, local law enforcement, motorcycle escorts and SAG vehicles. Once you get your miles in each day, come back and relax at our vibrant waterfront Team Village, featuring great food, live music, and beer provided by Carolina Brewing Company, and Start/Finish Festival Area that stretches from Union Point Park to the New Bern Convention Center.
Both Saturday & Sunday, Bike MS offers fully supported route options of 30, 50, 75 and 100 miles. All route options have the same start/finish locations each day. Cue sheets and route maps will be available in August on the Routes & Map page.
Bike MS: Historic New Bern weekend is upon us and like many of you, the National MS Society continues to monitor the potential impact of Hurricane Irma. At this time, Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride will continue as scheduled this weekend. We have confirmed with local law enforcement agencies, municipalities and emergency services that they are able to provide the expected level of support for this event as planned. You can still register Friday Afternoon - September 8th from 3pm-9pm in person at the Registration Rider Check-In at the New Bern Convention Center Ballroom.
