Why We Ride

Dirk and I are activists and doers. Dirk rides behind a bike every day to keep in shape. He believes that riding to help advance MS research just makes sense. Dirk will do anything to make me happy. We are activists. He is a doer, I am a believer. I believe we can find a cure through research Help us make a difference and join our team: Ride with the Dirk.

We have registered for Bike MS because it is fun, it serves an important purpose and we can help. Multiple Sclerosis is not fun, It is a terrible disease that so often hits young people just starting out in their adult lifes. Let's stop it in its tracks by riding like the wind or sponsering those who can. Join us in raising important funds for research and programs to make life a bit easier for all of us living with MS. Today, there is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis, and with diagnosis happening more and more frequently,and, horribly, most often between the ages of 20 and 50, too many young people face a future of unpredictability.

Who we are

You know, being among our friends and family, that I have had MS for over thirty years. Still on my feet and refusing defeat, the Dirk and I are advocates for MS research. Dirk is my Service Dog, brave, true and beautiful. Dirk helps me up when I fall, retrieves what I drop, and carries what I need.
