Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2017

AHA Inc. Always Helping Others!!
AHA Inc. Always Helping Others!!

Athletes Helping Athletes

There is nothing like seeing the smiles of the hundreds of people cheering you on as you ride… as you near the finish line. You’ve got to keep going. You’re tired, exhausted and ready to fall off your bike.  But, how can you possibly give up knowing that you are doing this for them? To rid the world of MS!

For the first time, Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. ( has created a team to support the 2015 Bike MS: City to Shore Ride! After many years of enjoying the ride as members of another team, Team AHA was formed to support two things we love: seeing an end to MS and the acceptance of others – regardless of ability.

Athletes Helping Athletes was formed in 2002 out of the Football Booster Club of Council Rock North High School in Newtown, PA.  AHA was created to introduce athletes to those that may not have the opportunities to play sports, in the traditional sense.  Over time, AHA has grown to 30+ high schools throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond. The comradery, the friendships that have formed, the increased self-esteem, the hugs and smiles – these are things that are not just rewarded to those that are on the receiving end of our services… No, those that have been given the opportunities to help others are often recipients of the greatest rewards. We believe that we have created a world in our communities that foster the belief that everyone deserves respect. And we invite you to “move in” to our community.

Please join or donate to Team AHA to support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. As with life, every little bit helps.

About MS

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
