We Did It!!!
We Did It!!!

Schlumberger Cycling Club

Schlumberger Cycling Club (SCC) (http://slbcycling.org/) is a well-established cycling club in the Houston area that has participated in the BP MS150 since 1998. Our club is comprised of Schlumberger employees, family and friends. In 2016 we had over 160 of our members participate in the BP MS150 raise a total of $154,000. We finished in the top 20 Teams in the 18th spot! We hope to do better this year. Can we count on your support?

SCC has raised over $2 million dollars for the MS Society since we started riding the MS 150 and we continue to be committed. We provide a top notch training series leading up to the BP MS 150. We are looking forward to a great biking season and plan to do our part on the BP MS150 by raising funds to help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change and help people with MS live their best lives.

We are very proud of our club’s exceptional safety record, community involvement and fundraising efforts for the BP MS 150. We have won the MS Society Gold Award for Safety numerous times.

In 2016, we collectively rode 75,000 miles during training season and contributed over 4000 hours of volunteering to serve our community. The camaraderie, passion, and memories that come from sharing this experience with our team will stay with us for a lifetime.

About MS
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. Every dollar helps. Every connection matters.
