Bike MS: Dat's How We Roll 2017

Team Dow 2015
Team Dow 2015

Team DOW

Team Dow sponsors a major “charitable” event, the Bike MS-150, benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

For the past 16 years Team Dow has made a HUGE impact at this event. Over the past 10 years, Team Dow and its sponsors have raised over $300,000.00 for this worthy cause.

Starting at Southeast Louisiana University in Hammond, La., the bike route goes 75 miles to an overnight stop in Percy Quin State Park in McComb, Miss., the next day it returns to campus the next day – for a total of 150 miles. Amazingly the second day is usually a bit easier, more downhill and usually a north wind blowing you south to the finish.

Team spirit and sweat. “Team camaraderie and the personal physical challenge are good reasons to participate in this event. It is a great way to build camaraderie with your fellow employees as well as other participants. It promotes fellowship both work and outside of work. Where else can you help your fellow man, have fun and get healthy at the same time!

About MS
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
