Our goal—a world free of MS.
Returning for a second year, Team RigUp is going the distance - we're biking the MS150, an epic fundraising ride that is changing the lives of people affected by MS and helping fuel progress toward a world free of MS.
Who we are:
Team Captain, Kimberly Blount: 6 year vet of the MS150, toddler mom, accountant, living with MS.
Team Captain, Cate Barrett: 1 year MS150 vet and daughter of her dad living with MS.
Team Captain, Drew Heugel: RigUp customer success rep, current Longhorn, and 2017 team RigUp rookie rider of the year
Our team's riders: Men and women; friends, family, and supporters of the cause. Newbies and experienced cyclists. Some of us work at RigUp, some don't. We're a diverse group of people who know each other through different activities like work, church, the gym or are old college friends, and we've rallied together under one team to end MS.
We've set an ambitious fundraising goal because we know that with support from people like you we can get there. The money raised will help fund amazing progress in MS research, as well services that ensure people affected by MS can live their best lives.
We'll be training, recruiting teammates, and raising money in the next few months, and we'd love your support as we prepare for this incredible experience. You can donate to our team fundraising goal, on individual pages - or even sign up to complete the ride yourself!
Want to join our team?
We'd love to have you. Come ride with us and experience a ride that will change lives—including your own.
When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
