It is time for our annual MS Challenge Walk and, as usual, your support and donation is so appreciated and important to us.
As a person living with MS your donation means more to me than you can imagine. 11 walks later and I am still one of the lucky ones. I am still living a rich and active life and I am truly blessed. The ability to do this walk in itself still evokes emotions in me that I can not put into words. Sure, there are bumps along the way. My eyesight and balance continue to impact my life. My days of sports (and possibly night driving) are over. But my days of doing this walk will continue!
The inroads made in curing Multiple Sclerosis continue to accelerate dramatically and each and every dollar donated to this cause continues this acceleration. It is a relatively small part for all of us, but there is a feeling that a world free of MS is a possibility. One day, we all will celebrate the end!
Treasure the little things and never take for granted what you have!
When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by MS. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
