Fundraising Honor Roll

Why I Participate:

In February 2004 my husband, Jim, was diagnosed with MS.  A couple of years ago he was classified as having secondary progressive MS.  Never having really had a relapse but a continual decline in his motor function skills.  I have chosen to participate as a way to honor him and to push myself to do this because I CAN  and he cannot.  Jim and I have done fundraising for the MSSnowmobile Ride in the past, it's now time for a new challenge.  We thank all of our family, friends, and neighbors for all of their physical, financial, and emotional support!

About MS

I am asking you to support me in Challenge Walk MS because this cause is meaningful to me. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

Please support me!

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. Every step matters. Every dollar counts. Every person makes a difference.
