WHY I'M RACING

I am participating in Race to Stop MS 2012, a charity fundraising effort on behalf of the National MS Society. I am racing in honor of Maureen Peterson and Charles Jordan.

Within the hour, another person will be diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This chronic, often debilitating disease affects 20,000 of our friends and neighbors across Illinois. People living with MS overcome challenges everyday: to walk; to have energy to go to the store; to have the will power not to give up. That's why it is so important to me to support the mission of the National MS Society by raising funds for programs and services that give hope to families in Illinois who are affected by MS, and for cutting-edge research into an eventual core that will end MS forever.

YOU CAN JOIN THE MOVEMENT, TOO!

Make a Donation

You can help get us all move closer to a world free of MS by making a donation to the National MS Society on behalf of my Race to Stop MS efforts. It's easy to make an online donation right now--just click the "Donate" button on this page. Or if you prefer, you can send in your donation via U.S. mail. (Please contact me for address details.)

It's people like you--my family and friends who can empower my fundraising efforts and the efforts of everyone racing across Illinois to end MS forever. I want you to know that I truly appreciate your support, because every bit counts. Together, we can move forward toward a world free of MS!

P.S. I plan to update this page frequently so that you can follow my progress, so please check back often!
