Join the MS Climbers for another fantastic and memorable event on Sunday, March 5th!
2017 marks our 6th year participating in Climb to the Top. Last year, to mark our 5th anniversary, we raised a record $53,303, and once again took the #1 fundraising team overall, for the fourth consecutive year, bringing our five year collective fundraising to $186,000. We climb with purpose and to make a difference in the lives of those living with Multiple Sclerosis. Come be a part of this exhilarating fitness challenge!
Our efforts over the past five years have enabled the MS Society to have the means to invest in approximately four research grants, which bring us closer and closer to a cure for MS.
We hope to once again raise $50,000 this year to cover the full cost of a research grant. This kind of impact inspires us to continue to climb year after year, and strive to keep raising our goals.
Multiple Sclerosis affects people in the prime of their lives, between the ages of 20 and 50. Every hour someone is newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. More than 2.5 million people worldwide live with this unpredictable disease. The symptoms of MS are different for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.
Currently there is no cure for MS. The money that is raised will be used to find the cause, treatment, and ultimately the cure of multiple sclerosis. The money is also used to provide education, information, direct financial support, and scholarships to individuals and families living with MS.
Please join the MS Climbers in the movement to do something about multiple sclerosis now!
