Why I Participate:

I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis about a year ago. I honestly thought I was one of a handful of people. Last year when I attended this walk I expected to see a small turn out and was amazed that it  affects millions of people. That's why I registered for Walk MS again this year; I am asking you to join MS Slayer in fighting for a world free of MS. I might have MS but MS doesn't have me.

About MS

It's challenging to live with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted.

For me its a daily fights with fatigue and numbness. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and I am determined to live a MS free life one day. With your help it will benefit research and treatment that will move us closer to a world free of MS.

Please support me!

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. Every step matters. Every dollar counts. Every person makes a difference.
