Why We Fight MS

Having multiple sclerosis means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up; that you may suddenly have impaired vision, or that your memory may fail you for no apparent reason. Each MS symptom is different and devastating for each person - the only thing certain about it, is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.  I know this because I live with MS everyday of my life.

Why I Walk

Just as I have in the past, I've registered for Walk MS again this year!  I do this because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed, and because I want to do everything I can to help prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this horrible  disease. Today there is no cure for MS (Miserable Stuff), but with your help, hopefully one can be found for the future. MS is most often diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, and has no preference who it attacks; it picks on little kids as easily as adults.  Most people with MS face a lifetime of uncertainty.  Let's be certain we can do everything possible to try to stop it.

Why You Should Sponsor Me

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from the Walk MS to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today. Because we choose to walk for those who sometimes can't, because we choose to donate to the MS Walk, we are getting closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, "You have MS."  I pray for that day.  Please help.
