For a few years now, I had been walking with my girlfriend/fiance's mother, attempting to do what I could to fight against MS. This year, I'm walking for my wife's mother because unfortunately, Multiple Sclerosis took Alison Paperny from our physical lives, years too soon.
This year, Alison would've seen both her daughters get married, and would have held her first grandchild... but the desease got the best of her, and now she's watching over us all...
I promised I'd never stop fighting for her, and this is me upholding that promise.
I walk for Alison
I am asking you to support me in Walk MS because this cause is meaningful to me. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
