California, Pasadena -- Walk MS: Greater Los Angeles 2014
Tricheck & Friends
For the sixth time, Tricheck & Friends has formed a team for Walk MS. Tricheck Women’s Lacrosse is a post-collegiate women’s lacrosse team based in Los Angeles. As athletes, we often take for granted our ability to walk, run, and play hard. But we know that MS can make even the smallest movements difficult. That is why we are again working together with teammates, friends, and family, to help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS. We believe in this cause, and we hope that we have your support.
Our team started small – only a few signed up the first year. But last year, we had over 25 players, friends, and family members walk with us, and we raised over $12,000! Our goal is to do even more this year!
We'd love if you would join our team, and walk with us on April 6. Either way, please consider making a donation to support our fundraising efforts and help us reach our goal of $12,500. Your donation will provide critical funds to local support programs and cutting-edge research. Every step matters. Every dollar counts. Every person makes a difference. Please consider making a donation.
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
