Our goal—a world free of MS.
This walk is to honor Mona and all she does for everyone. Mona is the person you see cooking in the background, making some kind of 'artsy-fartsy' thing for anyone's party, playing music, and just being there to support her friends. So now its our turn to hold up and stand with her. I am asking all of her friends and family, who are able to, to come out and support her fight with MS. She has made the logo for shirts and in the process of finding a reasonable place to be made to fit everyone budget.
The event will take place November 18th. Opening ceremonies will start at 9am so you need to be there before then, and the walk will start at 9:30.
It will be a 1 mile Family Fun Route. It is 100% accessible and will offer snacks and water at stationary rest stops. There will be fun for the whole family. There will also be entertainment at the Finish Festival with food, music, face painting, and more.
I really hope you can come out and share this day with her..
When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by MS. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
