Every hour of every day, a person is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Every year, people like you come together to ride, fundraise, and help people living with MS move their lives forward
The Bike MS Champions program connects Bike MS participants with people living with MS so they can support your cycling and fundraising efforts on behalf of all people affected by MS. If you don't have a personal connection to someone with MS, we'll match you with an inspirational Bike MS Champion to help make the ride a more meaningful experience. Dedicating your efforts to an individual will have a profound impact on both of you, by inspiring and connecting you and giving your Bike MS Champion reassurance that he or she is not alone facing the challenges of MS. The paired Champions are encouraged to connect before, during, or after the event. This connection fosters education, awareness, and most importantly, hope.
As part of this program, all cyclists who have a personal connection to the mission are encouraged to decorate a special bib to wear during the event. Bibs will be available at packet pick up sites before the event.
I want to join the program. I am a:[Bike MS participant] [Person living with MS]
A Champion is a person living with MS who is paired with a Bike MS participant, whom they may have never met.
Bike MS Champions brings together those living with MS and those who have made the commitment to ride and fundraise, but do not know someone with MS. Champions provide additional inspiration to those who have joined the movement.
Champions are paired with Bike MS participants and receive a packet of information that includes their bandanna. The Champion signs the bandanna and writes a personal message to send to their matched participant. Champions and participants can connect in many other ways, too.
We still encourage you to participate in the Bike MS Champions program, but make sure to let the program coordinator know this connection already exists and that you do not need to be matched with a Champion.

The National MS Society will pair each Champion with an event participant. Champions will receive a packet of information, including the Bike MS bandana, as well as contact information for their matched participant.
