Mark your calendars for a Packet Pick Up!

Your Bike MS packet contains many important items including your ride credentials. You must have your minimum fundraising commitment of $250.00 turned in and completed waiver on file in order to pick up your packet.

Driving Directions

Packet pick up dates:
  • Tuesday, July 24th from 12:00 PM-7:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 25th from 12:00 PM-7:00 PM
  • Thursday, July 26th from 12:00 PM-7:00 PM

To ensure the most secure handling of your personal and financial data, participants must reach the $250.00 fundraising minimum or donate the difference prior to receiving their packet.


Lodging

After a long ride, you'll need someplace to freshen up and rest your weary head. Below are your lodging options for Bike MS: Willamette Valley:

Join us in an on-campus dormitory. Options include a single or double with shared bath, or a triple and quad with private baths.

Dorm Housing Options:

(Check-in Friday any time after 5 PM /Check-out Sunday by 2 PM)

To ensure availability, please book in advance of event weekend. Deadline to book housing in advance is midnight on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

  • $70.00 - Single bed with a community bathroom
  • $100.00 - One room with two beds and a community bathroom
  • $180.00 - One room with three single beds, a sitting room, and private bathroom
  • $340.00 - Apartment with four single beds, kitchenette, and a private bathroom

Note: Towels and bed linens included in price. 

Other Housing Options

  • Camping (FREE)*: We have a nice, flat field slightly removed from our event festivities.
  • RV Parking (FREE)*: We love Winnebagos and have room for your 4-wheeled beastie.

*Both Camping and RV parking are free and open to all on a first-come, first-served basis. Showers and restrooms are nearby. Make sure to bring soap, towels, and toiletries.

Bike MS Training Rides: Sundays, June 16 and June 23

  • June 16 Location: Wilshire Park, NE 36th Ave & Skidmore St, Time: 10am, Distance: 18 miles Pace: Slow Host: PWTC
    • This training ride is intended for our new cyclists. There will be an introductory bike orientation prior to the start that will include bike handling, pedal, cornering, shifting and safety. The average speed will accommodate riders of all capabilities. There will be a coffee shop stop along the way for a break.
  • June 23 Location: Western Bike Works Time: 10am Distance: 12 15 miles Pace: 10 12mph Host: Raul, Store Manager
  • July 21st Location: Western Bike Works Time: 10am Distance: 12 15 miles Pace: 10 12mph Host: Raul, Store Manager
  • July 22nd Location: Performance Bike (9988 SE Washington Street) Time: 9:30am, Distance: TBD Pace: TBD

Team Captain Video Chat: April 25

Team Captains do a lot of work! You recruit, fundraise, plan and inspire. At our first-ever Team Captain video chat on Wednesday, April 25 at 7pm, you'll learn, teach, and be inspired by your fellow team captains. RSVP* required for dial-in information.

Bike MS Training Rides: Sundays, May 5 and May 13

  • May 5 Join Performance Bikes at Mall 205 for an east-side, intermediate, no-drop ride.
  • May 13 Take a Tour of the Valley on this moderate Mother’s Day training ride. Hand your mom the grandkids and head out on your bike it’s a win/win! Hosted by PWTC.


Celebrate those who live with MS!
Do you like riding in the I Ride with MS Victory Lap? Of course you do. Now, let’s create even more ways to celebrate those who live with MS! The Bike MS Committee is looking for people who live with MS to participate in its I Ride with MS volunteer group. Interested? RSVP today.

Are you new to fundraising? Wondering how on earth to hit that $250 minimum? Never fear - we have a Bike MS mentor for you! Connect with an experienced Bike MS fundraiser to generate fundraising ideas, help you as you go, and cheer on your successes. RSVP for a mentor today!


Spring Bike MS Volunteer Opportunities
Are you an enthusiastic rider who wants to engage beyond Bike MS itself? We’re looking for leadership volunteers to help with community and/or corporate outreach, mentoring for rookie riders, and weekend-of-event leadership volunteers (great for family members!).
