Welcome to Bike MS: City to Shore Ride! Check back here for news and updates related to the ride.
City to Shore 2018 Promotional Materials are available. City to Shore needs your help to recruit 7,000 and raise over $5 million this year. Word of mouth is the best way to recruit. Over HALF of all first-year cyclists noted they were recruited through a veteran cyclist. Help the ride reach its goals this year by spreading the word (and materials) for this year’s ride, doing what you do best, talking about your City to Shore experience. Every cyclist registered is another person joining us to help create a world free of MS.

Wanted: Corporate Partners: Support from companies is extremely important in keeping administrative costs low and continuing to ensure funds raised through City to Shore directly impact those affected by MS. In addition to a team, corporate sponsorship is a great way to promote your company to the entire City to Shore community. We need your help finding corporate partners to support the following in 2018: VIP program, century route and rest stops. Make your presence known while enhancing the overall Ride and cyclist experience. Plus, all options offer a great opportunity to engage employees as volunteers. May is National Bike Month, and a great time to activate your fundraising and training, and share your City to Shore experience and reason for riding with others.
1. Wear your vintage gear while riding to work during Bike to Work Week (May 14-18) as a way to promote City to Shore, recruit others to share the City to Shore experience with you, solicit donations and share your reason for riding.
2. Don’t wait until September - start thinking about safe and courteous cycling behavior now. Visit the Safety page now to pledge your commitment to being a Responsible Cyclist ride weekend.
Did you know? Cyclists who update their personal page or share their personal stories on social media raise twice as much as those who don’t!
The Boundless Fundraising app allows you to share reason for riding in just a few clicks. You're going for a training ride. You snap a pic before you start, upload it to your favorite social network and ask your friends and family for support. When you're finished with your ride, you pull out your phone again, check the mobile app, and snap! You've just raised more to create a world free of MS! Plus…
Check out our how-to videos on the features of the mobile and tablet apps and how they will make you a fundraising pro while you're on the go!

Bike MS has partnered with the League of American Bicyclists (LAB), a national organization dedicated to cycling, cycling advocacy and cycling education, to offer our cyclists free Group Riding Skills (GRS) Courses.
The GRS courses are designed for active participation. Courses include a classroom portion of approximately 60 minutes and an interactive cycling portion in the parking lot to practice group riding skills drills and techniques. The course DOES NOT include an actual ride. All courses are taught by League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors (LCI).
