2014 Finish MS

If you're racing for fun, you can Race to Finish MS!

Race to Finish MS offers runners, cyclists, swimmers and distance athletes of all types the chance to create a world free of MS while pushing their own personal limits. Race to Finish MS is a unique program that unites individuals with the common goal of creating a world free of MS and completing an athletic endurance event. If you're registered for any race event you can race on behalf of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. You will have access to powerful online fundraising tools to turn your participation in any third-party race event into a race for a good cause. Experience, location and race distance are flexible.

Get Started!

  1. First, register with the third-party race event of your choice.
  2. Then, come back here and register for Race to Finish MS program.
  3. Once you're fully registered, you'll have access to the National MS Society's online tools to help you reach out to family, friends, and associates, tell your personal story, raise funds, and keep track of your fundraising efforts.

*The National MS Society does not purchase race entries outside of our GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon program.  Please note that our free registrations to the marathon are full; however, we welcome new members to fundraise on behalf of the National MS Society and join us at our official Finish MS tent. See below for more information, or click here.

That's all there is to it! If you have any questions please contact Sheila Casey.

Finish MS

Local runner paved the way for Finish MS

Paul Goldstone runs for his father who was diagnosed with MS over two decades ago, as well as millions of others who live with MS. Goldstone helped inspire Finish MS after he signed up to run in the New York City Marathon in 2007 where he decided to raise awareness and funds to find a cure and ultimately an end to MS. Seven years and over $150,000 later, Paul is the proud captain of team Finish MS at the GORE-TEX Philadelphia Marathon being held on November 23, 2014.

If you are interested in joining the team and participating in the marathon, the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter sponsors runners thorugh purchasing race entries among other perks.  For more information, please click here.
