Washington - Bike MS: Bike MS Ride 2009

Macalester College Scots

Someone once said, "The World Needs Macalester College." Well on September 12th and 13th the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater Washington Needs Macalester College Alumni and Friends to Join the Movement to Create a World Free of MS!

Every hour of every day, someone hears the words "you have multiple sclerosis." You can live a full life with MS and the National MS Society is here to help.

We've formed a team for the Bike MS Ride because we know that it is part of who we are as Mac Alum to give of our selves to better the World. Riding 150 miles is nowhere near as difficult as confronting a lifetime with multiple sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society gives us all reason to hope, though. In addition to supporting novel research projects around the globe, they also provide much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS - including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them.

Join the Macalester Scots team as a cyclist or a volunteer! Make a donation online! Send in a check! Talk to your employer about becoming a sponsor of the Bike MS Ride! There are so many ways to make a difference, and it all begins right here.
