Do It Yourself Fundraising is an opportunity for people with a deep commitment to the MS cause to raise awareness and critical funds for the MS Movement in new and creative ways.

This site includes helpful resources to help you kick off a Do It Yourself activity and learn from others who are hosting their own.

Activities can include golf tournaments, dinner parties, bake sales, endurance events, simply asking your friends, and more!

So get started today, join the movement®, and together we can all help to create a world free of MS!

My sister Jo Anne is a fighter and lives gracefully with MS (40+ years now). Our mother Dorothy was her biggest supporter and champion advocate in the fight to end Multiple Sclerosis.  Our walk is in memory of our mother and in honor of my sister Jo Anne and I proudly carry the torch for them both.   With so much adversity in her life, Jo Anne always keeps her spirit positive with her motto being "I'm doing the best I can."

Last year in 2013 we were able to surpass our goal of raising "$3,000." This year 2014, we believe we can achieve an donation of "$3,500"  for our local chapter of the National MS Society Southern California/Nevada.
We ask that you consider the  Dorothy L. Sam Memorial MS Walk for your charitable donations.

The Dorothy L Sam Memorial MS Walk is proud and grateful to once again partner with our local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with 100% of our proceeds donated to our
Southern California/Nevada MS Chapter for treatment, research and programs that help those living with MS and their families.

The Dorothy L Sam Memorial MS Walk goal and vision is to always support our Southern California/Nevada MS Chapter. To continue ongoing efforts to raise awarenes about Multiple Sclerosis and fundraise for research, treatment and services for those living with MS and their families.

We are walking in the present with the future in mind.
