My wife has been diagnosed with MS for 20+ years and I am an avid cyclist. Over the years the National MS society has been very helpful to us and Patti continues to participate in the local chapter. What better way to support my wife and MS research than by going for a ride. I picked this ride as my first because I grew up near NYC and you get to ride through the Holland tunnel. How cool is that!
Echos of the Widowmaker
Due to the overwhelming support of the mac-pac I will be making a video of me riding in the Holland tunnel making the distinctive shounds of a 1975 Kawasaki 750 H2, aka "The Widowmaker". The video will also capture other highlights of the ride and will be posted on YouTube. Thank you mac-pac.

I am asking you to support me in Bike MS NYC because this is a cause that is meaningful to me. My wife is one of the millions of people that are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and it stops people from moving. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
Please support me!
Your gift helps provide local programs and services for people affected by MS, and funds cutting-edge research, putting us closer to realizing our promise to STOP MS in its tracks, RESTORE lost function and END MS forever. Ending MS means no one will hear the words, "You have MS" ever again. Every dollar counts!
Help me beat MS
Help me make this ride a success
