Teams are the fastest growing group of fundraisers in the MS movement making up 75% of Walk MS participants and raising over 75% of the funds!

WHAT IS MS?

Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body and stops people from moving. Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment, made possible from the funds raised in events like Walk MS, are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

WHY ARE WE WALKING?

?Hope? can be defined in many ways; but to most can be seen as ?the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.? We all hope for different things, on different days, but for those affected by MS the greatest hope is that a cure will be found.
